Spring is on the way!
Farley loved playing in the snow this winter, and we are sure that he will miss it now that the snow is gone for good (at least we hope it is).
The Barbet
In the year 2006 I was introduced to this fascinating breed. The Barbet.
The Barbet is a breed of medium dogs which originate from France. Much like the Portuguese Waterdog, the breed I began my business with, the Barbet was most commonly used for being a waterfowl retriever and as sailor's assistants.
The Barbet is a calm, easygoing dog and is the perfect companion. They are easygoing, loveable and goofy dogs which are a riot to play with and enjoy their company.
Barbets can be black, white, grey, fawn, or brown and tend to be between 30 and 60 pounds, depending on the gender.
This breed is one which has captured my heart. They are fun, loveable, smart and amiable. You've just got to love them.
